The ribbon cutting ceremony for the successful operation of the North Shore project'​

Sunpin Solar, a California-based solar developer, held a groundbreaking ceremony on January 10, 2020, celebrating the start of construction on its 98-MW Titan Solar 1 Project in Ocotillo Wells, California.

This is Sunpin Solar’s largest utility-scale solar project in California, following the successful completion of the 96.75-MW ColGreen North Shore solar project in Riverside County in 2018.
Located on a 569-acre parcel between the Salton Sea and Anza Borrego Desert State Park, Titan Solar 1 Project will be more than 260,000 panels and will generate over 218,000 MWh of renewable energy each year, which is enough to power over 26,900 homes annually. The project is anticipated to be operational in Q4 2020.

Illinois project receives strong municipal support​

Greenville, IL – The City of Greenville, Illinois is excited to announce an economic development initiative with the California-based solar developer Sunpin Solar by signing an Option and Lease Agreement for a potential major solar energy project site within the community. A lunch and learn hosted by the City along with Sunpin Solar briefing the community benefits has been scheduled for January 16, 2019 at the Los Amigos II Restaurant meeting room.

The solar site, directly north of I-70, is approximately 70 miles south of Springfield, Illinois. This 150-acre site will host an approximate 30-40 megawatt (“MW”) solar system with an estimated annual production of up to 60 million kilowatt-hours (kWh). The total annual production could power as many as 6,600 homes…
